Easy Broccoli Tuna Recipe
Easy to make! Open, chop, and mix. That's it! Literally done in 15 minutes.
Family favorite. Not all my kids love broccoli, and my husband is not a fan. When I made this salad, the family fought over it.
No Cooking Involved. No pots or pans involved, just a bowl and a cutting board.

Ingredients Tips
Tuna. I like to get canned tuna. Drain the water out of the tuna well. To lower the sodium content in the recipe, use tuna without salt added.
Cottage Cheese. Whole-fat cottage cheese is the best, but I have also used low-fat in this recipe. Strain any extra liquid.
Feta. To save time, get crumbled. For better taste, get the block of feta and crumble it yourself.
Broccoli. The smaller the pieces, the better. Get a broccoli crown and cut the tops off, making them small and rice-like in texture. I also had some bigger pieces in there, which I feel were a bit big to place on a slice of bread to make it a sandwich.
Red Onion. Dice the onions into small cubes. Red onion gives a great color, and it is sweeter than white onion.
Honey. A little sweet, healthy touch to the salad with honey. I get raw
Lemon juice. A slight acidity to the salad elevates the earthy taste of the broccoli.

Ways to Eat Tuna Salad with Broccoli
You can eat this salad in many different ways and make it for multiple occasions.
Just like that! Keep it low-carb and enjoy this salad as is. It's perfect for those who are trying a low-carb diet or are diabetic.
Sandwich. Grab a slice of bread, like homemade sourdough or sourdough bagels, and make an open-faced sandwich. It's a well-balanced meal for a win!
Gatherings. Bring to any gathering - brunch, potluck, or add to the table when you are hosting as a side salad.

More time with family and friends, less time in the kitchen, and staying healthy without sacrificing flavor.
