All the fall feels packed into this delicious, healthy apple pie Greek yogurt bowl. The cinnamon apples with the homemade granola make you want to wrap up in a cozy blanket on the couch and take in all the vibes, quite literally.

Why You'll Love This Apple Pie Yogurt Recipe

Family favorite! This apple and yogurt breakfast is a great way to keep the entire household happy. A nutritious breakfast before school to keep the babies from going hungry 2 hours later...

Healthy! What better way to feed your family than with the best ingredients that are in season. This high-protein apple pie yogurt bowl is delicious when made with the best ingredients, without any extra additives.

Meal Prep Friendly! You can saute or cook the apples ahead of time to have them ready to grab in the morning for a quick breakfast or snack throughout the day.

Ingredients for the Apple Pie Greek Yogurt Bowl

Greek Yogurt. Grab your favorite Greek yogurt and start with the perfect base. I love Cabot Whole Milk Greek Yogurt. It is not too sour and has the perfect texture.

Apples. A tart apple is my favorite when it comes to anything apple pie-related. Anything from golden crisp to Granny Smith is excellent. Here is a great article discussing the balance of sweetness and tartness in apples.

Peanut Butter. A natural peanut butter will be a little more liquid and without any sweetener. An excellent quality peanut butter with no palm oils or sugars is the best option for health benefits.

Maple Syrup. This is a great natural sweetener to have on hand, not just for pancakes, but for an apple and yogurt breakfast.

Cinnamon. All the fall feels with cinnamon in any dessert.

Dark Chocolate. I will forever sing praises about Hu chocolate bars. So good, clean ingredients, guilt free treat for any time of the day.

Granola. If you are going to buy granola, get one I have linked here. If you like to make your own granola, I have a recipe here you can use that is super easy to make and taste so delicious. I make several batches and place it into the freezer to have on hand. Makes meal prepping a breeze!

How to Cook the Apples

Cooking or sauteing the apples will make all the difference in this yogurt bowl and it only takes 5-7 minutes. Make a batch to have on hand throughout the week for your apple pie Greek yogurt bowls.

How To Store This Greek Yogurt Bowl

I like to store all my ingredients separately for this apple pie Greek yogurt bowl. Prepare what you can ahead of time like cooking/sauteing the apples and crumbling the human chocolate.

If you are packing yogurt for lunch, this Bento Box is a convenient option.

  • Yield: 2 bowls 1x

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups Greek yogurt

2 tbsp homemade granola

2 tsp peanut butter

2 cubes human chocolate

1 medium apple

¼ tsp cinnamon

2 tsp maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Dice a medium apple into small cubes, ¼ inch thick or so.
  2. Place into a small saucepan with maple syrup and cinnamon and cook down for 5-7 minutes on medium heat. Stir often to prevent apples from burning. Apple pieces will become slightly soft on the outside and yet crisp on the inside. Set aside to cool.
  3. Crumble or chop the Hu chocolate cubes to your liking.
  4. In your favorite bowl add the Greek yogurt on the bottom, cooked apples on one side, granola right beside the apples, and chocolate pieces following to the granola. Drizzle peanut butter over all the toppings.
  5. Enjoy!
