Why You'll Love This Pork Kotleti Recipe
Traditional Recipe from my childhood. Growing up, this was one of the dishes my family would always enjoy with creamy mashed potatoes and a garden salad or cabbage cucumber salad. This recipe was passed down from generation to generation and has made it's way to my family as well.
Easy to Make. Enjoy your first dozen pork meat patties in less than 30 minutes! This is a very straightforward recipe to have on hand.
Meal Prep Easy! I love having leftovers or a ready meal in the freezer, so I can quickly prepare it for my family. These kotleti are perfect for meal prepping.
Ingredients Needed
Ground Pork. I like ground pork for the flavor, but have used ground turkey and that was delicious as well. I suggest choosing the 80/20 and not the lean ground meat. The patties will turn out a little tougher with lean meat.
Milk. I use whole milk in this recipe. 2% milk will be great, but I do not suggest fat-free. Milk provides flavor and creaminess to the meat patties.
Bread. Any bread you have on hand works great for this recipe. If I don't have a fresh loaf of sourdough bread on hand, I will use Dave's Killer Bread.
Onion. A fresh onion will give the best and most authentic flavor to this kotleti recipe.
Salt and Pepper. That's all the spices you need! The rest of the ingredients give that delicious, juicy flavor to these katleti.
Flour. Roll each meatball in flour and flatten it into a patty to make the original kotleti form. I use the King Arthur All-Purpose Flour.
Olive Oil. I use a good quality olive oil and only enough to coat the bottom of the pan.
