These pork kotleti are juicy, tender, and a great protein side dish to add to your meal. It is easy to make and great for meal planning.

Ingredients

2 lbs ground pork

1 cup of milk

4 slices of bread

1 small onion

2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

1/2 cup of flour

Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Place 4 slices of bread into a bowl and pour the milk over the bread. Allow the bread to soak in the milk for a few minutes. Mash the bread into small pieces.
  2. Using a hand grater, grate the onion into the bowl.
  3. Add the meat, salt and pepper in to the bowl and mix everything together.
  4. Preheat a cast iron pan with as much olive oil as desired, typically 1-2 tbsp per batch fried.
  5. Place the flour into a shallow bowl
  6. Using a 1 1/2 tablespoon cookie scooper, add the meatballs to the flour bowl and coat and roll them to coat on each side.
  7. Flatten each meatball with your hands to about 1/4 inch thick and fry in the olive oil on low to medium heat until golden brown and cooked through on both sides.
  8. Enjoy warm or cold.
