Summer grillin' is the best! Grab some chicken thighs and a few basic ingredients to make these juicy sweet and spicy grilled chicken thighs.

  • 4.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper (less if you want less spicy)
  • 2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Combine honey, crushed red pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt in a small bowl and mix well.

    • If the honey is too thick, heat it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds to soften it a bit.

  2. Prepare the chicken thighs for the meat marinade.

    • Rinse the thighs and pat dry with a paper towel.
    • Remove all excess fat around the meat and any veins.

  3. Pour the sweet and spicy meat marinade over the chicken thighs and mix well.
  4. Cover with the lid and allow to marinate in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes or up to 24 hours.
  5. Cook the chicken on a preheated grill on medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes on each side or until it reaches 165*F.
  6. Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
