This is the easiest and most flavorful pan-fried salmon recipe you will ever make! It is a great, quick, and easy go-to meal for any time of the day.

Ingredients

Salmon

Salt

Ground Black Pepper

Garlic Powder

Onion Powder

Oil

Instructions

  1. Remove salmon from the wrap and rinse. Pat dry with paper towels and lay flat on the plate.
  2. Drizzle a little bit of olive oil on one side of the salmon.
  3. Take each spice—salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder—and sprinkle it on the salmon. Add as much as you think is necessary for your taste buds.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 on the other side of the salmon.
  5. Preheat a cast iron frying pan to medium heat. I typically don't add oil to the pan because it is seasoned well. If you are using a different kind of pan, add oil just enough to brush the bottom of the pan. This will help the salmon not stick.
  6. Add the salmon into the pan and allow to fry or sear for 5-6 minutes on each side. Cook until the temperature has reached 125-130*F internally.
  7. Remove the fish from the frying pan and allow to rest for 3-5 minutes.
